 Professional Experience 

Certified Public Accountant with two major areas of concentration.

• The first major of concentration is in the area of individual income return preparation. Handling anything from simple returns to complex returns with self employment income, capital gains and losses, and rental properties,  all tax returns are completed by me personally, with years of experience covering a wide variety of tax situations. I offer electronic filing (e-file) for fast refunds and even more accurate return preparation. 

•  The  second area area is one of providing complete accounting, payroll, and income tax preparation service for privately held businesses located in Medina, Ohio and surrounding areas.  
   

 Educational Experience

- Bachelors Degree, 1982 Cleveland State University, Cum Laude Graduate

- Passed CPA exam first sitting, May, 1983

 - Continuing Professional Education (CPE) on a regular basis, staying on top of tax law changes 

 Career Experience

- Founded my CPA practice, James P. Coco, CPA in 1994 and have run continually since then.

- Previously held positions in national and regional CPA firms, including Ernst & Whinney, Meaden & Moore, and Laventhol & Horwath.

- Also, previously held position of Vice President of Finance at Technology Leaders, Inc..
